Members of the Dumont Fire Department had an incredibly busy month, responding to a total of 42 calls for service. The calls for service included two residential dwelling fires in town, as well as seven responses into neighboring jurisdictions for structure fires and town coverage. Due to the continued heatwave members saw a continued uptick in alarm activations, responding to a total of 22 activated fire, smoke, or carbon monoxide alarms. Attached below is a GoFundMe link for the family affected by a structure fire in town. Any and all donations are greatly appreciated by the family.
